Low in calories and carbs, spinach is nutrient dense, overflowing with vitamins A, C and K, protein, magnesium and a whole lot of fibre. It has high amount of iron too. Bananas help you reach your weight loss goals, keep your bowels healthy, provide nutrients that regulate heart rhythm and have vitamin compounds for eye health. Apples, being rich in fiber, help in the digestive process. Two teaspoons of flax seeds in this bright green drink will give you omega – 3s plus lignans for cardiovascular health.
Spinach has a neutral taste and is easily overpowered by banana when used together in a smoothie. Banana makes it nice and sweet with the milk, and you can’t taste spinach. It tastes just like a milk shake. Such a great way to sneak in some greens. Smoothies are one of the best way to include spinach in your daily diet as it doesn’t require cooking or boiling that represents the biggest threat of vitamin loss. Time to get your green on!
