Small plums make great base for smoothie. This recipe uses oats, banana, milk and dates. It also has a bit of ginger and red chilli powder which gives it a real kick. However, if you don’t like your smoothie to be spicy, you can just leave out the chilli powder or adjust it to your own needs. Plums are rich in fiber, sorbitol and isatin which are all great for your digestion and help to get everything moving again. Plums are also known to help the body absorb vitamin C and iron, which will help your immune system stay strong over holidays.

Servings: 1 glass
- Plum 2, chopped
- Banana 1/2, chopped
- Dates 2, deseeded and chopped
- Ginger 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder 1/8 tsp
- Milk chilled 1 cup
- Oats 1/4 cup, lightly roasted
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
- Serve chilled.
