Soya Chana Cutlet

Soya granules are combined with kabuli chana and mint and made into tikkis. They are both tender and tasty. Soya is rich in protein and fiber where as chana helps in weight loss and stabilises blood sugar levels. Being low in cholesterol, this recipe is good for heart patients and diabetics. So make your own snacks at home using healthy ingredients and satisfy your cravings without weighing you down.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 5 Cutlets

Ingredients

  • Kabuli Chana, boiled  1/2 Cup
  • Soya Nuggets, boiled and ground coarsely  1/2 Cup
  • Mint Leaves , chopped  1 tsp
  • Chhole Masala  1 tsp
  • Ginger, grated  1 tsp
  • Green Chilli Paste  1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice  1/2 tsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  to fry

Directions

  1. Take all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mash them well.
  2.  Divide the dough into equal portions and mould them into desired shape.
  3. Apply a teaspoon of oil on grill plates. Keep the tikkis on them and grill. You can also shallow fry or deep fry as per your wish.
  4. Serve hot.
