Sesame, Peanut and Garlic Chutney

Sesame, Peanut and Garlic Chutney is a very tasty and easy recipe that goes well with chapathi as well as dosas. Its a great add on to any meal. Sesame seeds promote healthy and beautiful skin. They help prevent diabetes, reduce blood pressure and promote heart health. They are also known to promote bone and respiratory health. Peanuts lower bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol in the body. They contain monounsaturated fatty acid especially oleic acid that prevents coronary disease. Garlic contains antioxidants that may help prevent Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.

Cooking Time: 6 minutes

Servings: 100 g


  • Sesame Seeds  1 cup
  • Cumin  1/2 tsp, roasted
  • Peanuts  1 tbsp, roasted
  • Garlic  5-6 cloves
  • Salt  to taste
  • Red Chilli Powder  1 tsp


  1. Take a pan and roast sesame seeds till they turn light brown in colour.
  2. In a blender, grind together all the ingredients to a fine powder.
