This ragi cake is very chocolaty, light and simple to make. It is not only a healthy cake but also tasty as ragi with cinnamon gives a nice flavour to the dish. Using only ragi will make the cake very dense, so all purpose flour is also used along with it. Ragi is one of the best natural protein sources. The high amount of dietary fiber combine keeps the stomach full for a longer time and prevents unwanted craving. Cinnamon contains anti-inflammatory properties, protects heart health, fight diabetes, infections and viruses.

Baking Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 10-12 pieces
Ingredients
- Ragi Flour 1/2 cup
- Maida 1 cup
- Cocoa Powder 1 tbsp
- Sugar 3/4 cup, powdered
- Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
- Baking Soda 1 tsp
- Oil 1/4 cup

- Cinnamon Powder 1 tsp
- Chocolate chips 1 tbsp
Directions
- Sieve together maida, ragi powder, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder.

- Add curd and beat well.
- Add all the sieved dry ingredients to this wet mixture.
- Add milk, cinnamon powder and chocochips. Pour into a mould (if using a silicone mould you can pour it directly or else grease the bottom and dust it with some flour) and bake into a preheated oven at 180 C for half an hour.
- Allow it to cool down completely, demould and cut into pieces.
